BIO

Teagan Ree, a dynamic 15-year-old, still carries the same fire she had on a bike at age three—just with a few more adventures added in. Growing up on dirt, snow, and finish-line excitement, Teagan built her confidence racing BMX and mountain bikes, collecting podiums and pushing her limits on every course she touched. That competitive spark hasn’t gone anywhere; it’s just expanded.

Today, Teagan balances her love for mountain biking, moto, and skiing with new passions that shape who she’s becoming. She plays competitive volleyball, devours good books, and still never turns down a challenge. Whether she’s carving down a trail, sending it on skis, or locking in her focus on the court, Teagan brings the same determination, grit, and positivity she’s had since she was little.

On and off the trail, Teagan continues to uplift her community—encouraging younger riders, spreading confidence, and showing girls they belong in every sport they love. When she’s not biking or playing volleyball, you’ll find her hanging out with friends and family, skiing, hiking, reading, or cuddling her cat.

2019 Goals:  Ride, Win, Inspire, Have Fun!

  • To be on the podium at my regional and national bike races as well as giant slalom/slalom ski races. Enhance my bike handling skills in regional BMX races.
  • Further develop my downhill and enduro skills in MTB summer camps (Woodward West, Sweetlines Gravity) and ride Northstar and Mammoth bike parks regularly with my family.
  • Inspire kids to MTB!  Mentor kids on MTB and build/revive trails in the Reno/Tahoe area. Reveal the fun of mountain biking to others.
  • Enable girls to MTB! Continue to influence MTB race festivals and venues to create girls or co-ed age appropriate race classes (vs. only one women’s class).
